The College Success Center provides individualized assistance and guidance for students and their families as they navigate their post-secondary plans. They are given support with college, trade school, financial aid, scholarships, job applications, and tutoring in a range of subjects.

The Youth Media Symposium

The Youth Media Symposium is an after-school youth development program, that develops youth leaders in schools and communities. YMS introduces Newark Students, ages 13-18 to education advocacy, historical literacy, and the art of using digital media technology as a tool for social change.

Dual Enrollment Program

The Dual Enrollment Program provides high school students with the opportunity to take college courses for credit while still in high school. The program is open to juniors and seniors from Newark Public Schools, charter schools, and parochial schools. Students take courses on campus with undergraduate students and have access to on-campus supports such as mentoring and tutoring.

Rutgers Future Scholars

Rutgers Future Scholars provides academic growth, social development, personal enrichment and exposure to academic and career paths. Annually fifty first-generation, low-income, academically promising middle school students from Newark Public Schools are admitted.
